Avoid the holiday fear and make sure that you have everything on your must have beach holiday checklist
When it comes to heading out on holiday, there is one thing that we all fear. Rocking up to the hotel or the beach, only to find that you are missing some of your much needed items. Rather than the panic of trying to find somewhere that stocks exactly what you are looking for, we have decided to lend you helping hand.
We want to save the embarrassment and frustration of not having everything you need, so with this in mind we present our must have beach holiday checklist. All the items that you are likely to need for your big beach holiday!
For the beach
Okay, so one of the biggest parts of any beach holiday has to be the beach. Which means that you need to have all the essentials with you. One of the most basic things has to be a towel, as you are unlikely to find that your hotel will let you take theirs. You should always pack sun cream too, and make sure that it is over SPF15 to properly protect your skin.
If you have long hair then a hair band and hair tires are going to prove vital, as they keep everything up out of the way. You should also never ever forget your sunglasses, as these will not only be great for protecting your eyes, but also make sure that you don’t have to worry too much about mascara before heading to the beach.
Don’t forget to take a book or two with you as well, as these will be valuable to stop you getting bored whilst you soak up the sun.
Finally, never ever forget your bikini or swimming costume, as this could really ruin your entire holiday.
Heading out in the evening?
If you are then you will need to make sure that you pack some things that can prove useful for when the sun goes down. A small handbag or clutch bag is a good idea as they don’t take up too much space in your suitcase. You should also try to keep them reasonably neutral as this will help them go with a variety of outfits.
Try not to be tempted into taking too many pairs of shoes, you should really only need a couple for the evening, and make them relatively comfy, as your feet are much more likely to swell from the heat.
The vital stuff
There are some things that you just can’t forget when you go on holiday. One of these is your phone charger and a travel adaptor, you could even go one step further and pack an extension lead as this will make sure that you have enough room for everything.
You should also pack all your face creams, shower gels that you normally use at home, and make sure that you have some after sun too to pop on any pink bits. It may also be a good idea to invest in a high quality shampoo and conditioner too, as your hair is likely to bear the brunt of the sun, sea and sand!
